A striking new water feature is a dynamic part of the expansion and remodel of Asante Rogue Regional Medical Center in Medford, OR. The experience begins with a sleek, nearly 12 ft. long honed black granite podium, from which gentle rivulets of water flow down both sides in a mesmerizing curtain. From there, a 42 ft. stainless steel runnel slopes gently, guiding shallow water over polished black granite tiles. The journey concludes with a dramatic 4 ft. waterfall cascading into a circular pool encircled by natural boulders. Underwater lights illuminate the falling water, casting a soft glow over the black granite pavers and river rocks that cover the pools, creating a tranquil and inviting atmosphere. We worked with Terrain Landscape Architects and Anderson Construction.
