This towering fire and water feature stands outside of the main museum building. The triangular copper column is 30 ft. tall and rests on top of an 8 ft. tall block of ridged black granite. Water covers all surfaces as it cascades downward over both the copper column and the granite block. At fifteen minute intervals, for one minute, the column releases streaks of fire that climb upward, clinging to the surfaces of the triangular column of water. During the first ten seconds of each interval of fire, a dense haze obscures the column producing a vertical cloud of fire appearing from the inside.
