Our sculptural water veil at Isla Intersections is a serene oasis in the heart of Los Angeles’ new affordable housing complex near the 110 and 105 Freeways. This captivating feature invites a moment of tranquility for the community, as mesmerizing waves of water cascade 11 ft. into a recessed basin covered with Mexican beach pebbles. Designed with a distinctive V shape that highlights its sculptural elegance, the water veil transforms into a glowing beacon at night, symbolizing a warm welcome and a sense of home for the residents. We worked with Agency Artifact landscape architecture, Lorcan O’Herlihy Architects, and Geis Construction.
