A monumental rectangular copper infinity fountain greets residents and visitors at this contemporary home in Atherton, CA. The upper reflecting pool is calm and mirrors the surrounding trees and sky. At the infinity edge, water cascades gently, descending 2 ft. into a partially recessed basin covered with black beach pebbles. Spanning 18 ft. wide, the copper podium features a dark bronze patina that harmonizes with the surrounding finishes of the residence.
