The water feature for Kilroy Realty consists in part of two Water Veils arranged within a curved base. The veils, the taller one standing 9 ft. tall and the other one 7.5 ft. tall, appear as panels of shimmering light, with gently flowing waves of water cascading downward. The veils are framed with brushed stainless steel, subtly bracketing the movement of the waves of water. The veils end just above blue glass panels rising from a bed of blue glass pebbles covering the basin.
The water veils are also flanked by two granite wafers. The shorter wafer stands slightly behind the shorter veil and has patterned water flow on all sides. The water feature serves to partition the area outside of the conference rooms from the rest of the space and creates an air of welcome for visitors stepping out of the elevator.
