A 23-foot tall water feature captivates viewers in the atrium at the new Sentara Williamsburg Community Hospital in Virginia. The water feature contains three sculptural elements of varying heights and materials, most prominent of which is a 23 ft. tall translucent, stainless steel water veil that rises from circular granite reflecting pool.
Curvilinear shapes balance the straight lines of the Water Veil as a 5 ft. tall polished stainless steel water wall elegantly curves off-center from the soaring veil. A complimentary 12 ft. tall curved copper column extends in the opposing direction of the stainless steel wall, creating the effect of a continuing curve.
