Inset between five, six feet tall recessed granite water wall panels are four curved copper water columns. Water falls downward along the smooth black granite and contrasting textured copper surfaces, creating an alternating surface pattern of smooth sheets of water on the granite and slower ripples on the copper. Underwater lights illuminate the concave copper sections creating columns of ‘liquid light’. The combination of two forms and materials creates an interesting play of water textures and color.
