| In the garden courtyard of ASM International, a society for material engineers and scientists in Materials Park, Ohio, stands a prominent water feature composed of two independent sculptures arranged to complement one another. The vertical curved arcs are made of two different materials; the taller feature stands 16 ft. from the base and is made off copper, patinaed as bronze; and the shorter, 14 ft. curved arc is made of titanium.
Stainess steel rings fitted around the perimeter of the feature's base create water rivulets that stream over and around the top pool into the lower pools. Black river stones lie at the bottom of the top two pools of water. |
