Two curved copper columns interlock to create a contemporary water sculpture that enhances a condominium entryway in San Diego, CA. The contrast between ridged and brushed copper generate intriguing water patterns that flow down the dual columns. The adjacent rounded walls with Venetian plaster compliment the rich bronze surfaces of the sculpture. The curvilinear base is filled with black polished river rock, which shadows the curvature of the water feature, as well as the dome arch above.
